Holistic living is a lifestyle approach designed to nurture mind, body, and soul in equal measures. This lifestyle encompasses healthy eating habits, regular physical exercise, meditation practices and cultivating positive self-relations while creating connections to nature and the universe. Holistic living can vary slightly from person to person due to our individual needs and circumstances requiring tailor-made approaches; however there are some basic principles common among holistic lifestyle practitioners that remain constants.

Eating healthy is at the center of any holistic lifestyle. This means forgoing processed food, limiting sugar consumption, choosing whole grains, organic vegetables, proteins, and fruits as a basis of diet, and opting for organic non-GMO herbal supplements as part of daily regimen.

Exercise should be part of any holistic lifestyle, and experts generally advise aiming for at least 30 minutes of physical activity most days in order to benefit both physical and mental health. Exercise has many potential health benefits including improved memory retention.

Holistic living includes practicing mindfulness and stress management techniques to enhance mental wellbeing, including anxiety reduction and cognitive improvement. While developing these skills takes time and may not always go smoothly at first, the goal should be to practice them consistently so they become part of your routine.
