Matthew McConaughey returns five years after Sing as Buster Moon with his band of singers to delight audiences young and old in Sing 2. Returning actors include Reese Witherspoon, Scarlett Johansson, Nick Kroll, Taron Egerton, Tori Kelly as well as newcomers such as Bobby Cannavale (mean media mogul Jimmy Crystal) with Halsey as Porsha Crystal - Porsha is represented by Halsey while U2 frontman Bono Bono voices reclusive rock star Clay Calloway who wants a key part in this show's debut performance.
Chelsea Peretti, best known for her roles on television shows such as Broad City and Atlanta, voices Suki as Crystal's talent scout Crystal's arrogant canine assistant Suki is convinced Buster and his cast won't succeed in Redshore City; yet as the film progresses she begins to become more secure with herself and her beliefs.
At Sing 2, several original cast members also return, such as Johansson as Linda the Equine Talk Show Host; Kelly as Elephant Meena and Egerton as Johnny the Singing Gorilla; while Tarantino regular Jennifer Saunders reprises her role of Nana Noodleman, an iconic singer who helps Buster achieve his dreams of singing success.
Letitia Wright, known for her portrayal of Shuri in Black Panther and Avengers: Infinity War and Endgame, makes an appearance as Nooshy, an aggressive streetwise lynx dancer in Sing 2. Pharrell Williams lends his musical talents as Alfonso (an elephant who becomes Meena's love interest), while British actress Letitia Cox stars as Rosabelle (an ice cream vendor with wild-cat instincts).
